I trained my dog with an older model of this E-Collar. I received the new system last week and immediately appreciated the remote improvements. The remote control is smaller and the buttons are logically arranged. Beep at the top, vibration at the middle, and shock at the bottom, which is better because the response is better in this pattern. Also, the remote has a grippy plastic material to make it easier to hold and stay attached to the old remote. So far, the battery life lasts from the first charge. The probes on the collar seem more reliable compared to the old collar. I dropped one and lost it before realizing the dog wasn't responding to walking on the collar as it stopped working after the sensor fell off. Happy with the product and my dog responds well to the beep. She still walks and tends to chase rabbits or other wild animals, so shocks are only used in safety cases when she doesn't respond at all to other stimuli and commands.
