I'm torn because these tops are so cute (ordered in white and yellow). These are *not* supportive sports bras - there is no such thing as a bra with an internal shelf. These are really training tops with removable pads. For me the main issue is the inseam at the bottom of the chest; If you are very fun/small then you can probably move around in it with no problem. But if you have a large/old/heavy breast, the seam moves up as you move, creating an unflattering, pancake migration situation (and you could end up in the underbust area). I'm a (real) 34D and size M will never be supportive/compressive enough for a real workout of any kind. I can only wear them with a sports bra underneath. which seems to defeat the purpose.
