Review on 🔌 BougeRV 30 AMP RV Receptacle Plug Adapter with Handle: Enhanced Electrical Connectivity for Female Plug by Lukundo Lim

The socket on my RV's 30 amp extension cord blew out last week and instead of replacing the entire 100 foot cord which costs well over $100 I have this replacement plug for part of the costs ordered. The piece was well made from cast resin and appeared to be very durable. It was important to me that the part I ordered was ETL certified, which is what happened. I would not buy any electronic device that is not ETL, UL or CSA certified. Best of all, it came with very detailed instructions on how to precisely cut and strip each conductor to ensure it fits perfectly into the socket and connects to the terminals. Well, if you're an electrician, you probably don't need this, but it definitely helped me. The only downside is that the instructions warn that it wasn't made for wet environments and these type of chords are usually used in the rain etc. So I used silicone sealant around the edges where the two halves meet and hopefully that helps prevent moisture from getting in. I just won't let him sit in a puddle! So far I'm very satisfied and would recommend this brand if you need a high performance replacement part.
