The wallet that wanted to be a backpack

I'm honestly a big Baggallini fan but not a big fan of backpack style wallets. However, my teenage daughter loves them so she convinced me to give it a try. The best I can describe is a handbag that wanted to be a Halloween backpack. I can't say exactly when he wanted to grow up because to be honest he just isn't big enough. Although it has the typical Baggallini quality - it is made from recycled materials with the typical waterproof fabric. Zippers work smoothly and easily, do not bind. I couldn't find any manufacturing defects. It has plenty of open zip pockets and three standard credit card slots, although three isn't enough for me, so I carry my wallet via the built-in pockets. The slots are RFID protected but in my situation my info was only stolen by companies so I feel like it's still in the hype category. The problem is that it's not very practical either as a wallet or as a backpack. It's too small to carry a laptop or standard tablet. The straps come loose to work as a backpack or together to work as a shoulder bag, and either way they're not particularly comfortable. There's no lockable zip that the anti-theft versions are so proud of, so it's not ideal for travel. The front pocket zipper won't close or open fully no matter what you do. An inch more would make it more practical as a backpack, an inch less would make it more stylish as a handbag. I have a feeling that trying to do both doesn't work either.
