I bought this for my dad's daughter's dance in the middle of winter in the Midwest. Not only did this scarf keep my daughter warm, but it also looked great. We're going onto a dimensional grid. My daughter should have fit in the middle but I went for the larger one. The large one made my daughter's hands feel less constricted and covered most of her hands. I recommend taking one size larger.
