Real Nivea from Germany. Very rich with a light aroma.

THE REAL BUSINESS. I know people have said something about not being from Germany. That. It can be sold for export from Germany to another country, which explains the different language imprint on the can. My cousin worked in Germany for 24 years as a translator of Eastern European languages. He said he used this type of Nivea when he lived there. Due to the harsh winters and dry summers in the air-conditioned bases, his skin is so dry that tiny cracks form on his hands. After he started using this Nivea, it ended. His housekeeper encouraged him to try. He said she thought it "cured everything". He insisted I try it as I gave it to him as a small gift today. I first photographed the container as soon as I took it out of the shipping carton. I removed the lid to make sure it was tight. A small piece of foil was lifted, but the product was not damaged. I told him the item was slightly open, but I was pretty sure the foil might have pulled up when the lid was removed. He didn't want to be returned, so I don't mind if he's happy. I really tried the cream. It has a consistency similar to cream cheese or high-quality natural coconut oil. VERY thick and not "sticky" like Nivea in the US. It has a pleasant scent, is not greasy and absorbs very well into the skin. The container is large and should last a while. I will continue to buy this for my cousin as he is elderly and needs extra care for his skin as he is diabetic now. This would be a nice recurring gift for someone to let them know they are on your thoughts. I'll probably take an extra bin for my son. It's out of the LOT and after trying it myself I can say I've never seen skincare products this rich in the US. I have bought Nivea several times and never knew that they make such a great product. My cousin gave me some advice if your hands or face are very dry or cracked. He said that when he returned for the day, he would pour very warm water into a small tub and leave his hands there for a few minutes to warm up. He said get a kettle for tea, fill a bowl for your hands and soak them. When the kettle finally whistles, take your hands out of the water and apply Nivea cream and let it "melt" on your skin. Then massage your hands and wrists, you can do the same with a warm damp towel on your face and neck. Either way, this is great stuff and you can't go wrong with this purchase.
