Cannot connect 2 strings.

It advertises that there is a male and female plug so you can join 2 and up to 3 strands together. We had them hung and now see that they only have a female plug on one end! So we will need to run a drop cord to each strand! Each strand starts with a bulb and ends with a plug. Wish I knew before we had them hung. Wish they description was accurate!
