You get what you pay for
I wore these only once on a fairly hard bike seat. I suppose they were better than nothing, but I still had numbness and pain during/after the ride. I have another pair of high quality gel cushioned bike shorts I bought at a bike store and they're significantly better for protection.

- It ok, but can be better.
Cons
- padding does not cover enough of my rear end
