The lens is smaller than the pictures and I like it. It's very well built, all metal, feels solid. The focus ring is soft, doesn't play much, which is desirable, with a good movement. The center image is very sharp, much larger than my Nikkor 28mm f3.5, I just appreciate the side edge distortion which doesn't bother me too much. The colors of the Fujifilm xe1 are incredible and the price makes it hard to match its performance. There was only one problem and that is that the screen gives an error from time to time, it starts to flicker, which disappears when the lens is removed, I assume this is due to the contacts on the body. nevertheless I am very satisfied with the purchase.
