I live in a humid climate where keeping towels and linens fresh seems impossible. I bought a freshly scented DampRid FG60FS desiccant and placed one of the two containers in the small bathroom closet where my wife and I keep the linens. It worked like a charm! I personally like the fresh scent of DampRid, which makes for a tight space. After 2 weeks, towels and sheets still smell good. No musty smells. My only complaint (and not necessarily a lack of product) is the high humidity in my Florida home, the crystals quickly become liquid. I expect to have to replace it more often than the average house due to climate issues. Apart from that, this was the most effective way to prevent the bad mold smell that can spread during the rainy season. I highly recommend stocking up on DampRid for musty smell issues. I like small discreet buckets, they are easy to put on the floor or on a shelf. Hanging versions are slightly more visible and bulky. court
