Review on 🚿 Silver MOIOIBE High Pressure 5 Modes Shower Head with Hose and Extension Arm - Detachable Handheld Showerhead by Lauren Perry

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice shower head and easy to install but jet speed could be better.

Like most shower heads, this shower head was incredibly easy to install. To install the flow restrictor you must first remove the O-ring from the fitting that attaches to the main supply line and then replace the gasket once the flow restrictor is in place, but this will only take a few seconds. As for the 5 settings advertised, this is technically correct, but two of these are "intermediate" settings as shown in the product photos. In practice you probably don't want to use them as they mean that only half the flow goes to each set of nozzles so the flow rate from both sets of nozzles between you is much slower. as if it were matched to one set of nozzles or the other. The three common settings, as you can see in both mine and the product photos, are the 3-nozzle jet setting, the 6-nozzle spray setting, and the multi-nozzle setting, which is more like a regular shower head to cover a large area with less flow rate. The main downside I've encountered is that the flow rate isn't as high as I'd like, the jet setting. The flow rate could be increased by removing the flow restrictor, but this would use the available hot water much faster (and of course use more water overall, which can be important if you live in an area where water is available). Problem). factor.) On a previous shower head I've used, the jet setting nozzles produced a higher flow rate than this one (i.e. the same volume of water flow but with smaller diameter jet nozzles so the flow rate is higher). It is known that the spray head does not include a method of shutting off the flow of water. The only way to do this is to turn off the faucet. I'm fine with that since I never do it anyway, but a lot of showerheads include it so it's just something to keep in mind if you need this feature. Overall, this is a great shower head for the price. However, if jet nozzle flow is important to you, you can find one that offers higher flow rates. The build quality for it seems good and it looks good. Didn't find any leaks or other defects. Includes Teflon tape in case you need it. If you've never installed a shower head and think it might take a long time, it really isn't. The entire installation literally took about 2 minutes. I spent more time photographing it for this review than installing it. You simply unscrew the base of your existing shower head from the water pipe, unscrew the shower head base, screw the nut-shaped end of the hose onto the fitting on the underside of the base, and then screw on the longer tapered end. end of the hose to the bottom of the atomizer head. You can also wrap the supply line threads with the supplied teflon tape to prevent leakage, especially if the threads are worn down, but in my case this was not necessary and there is no leakage from the connection at all. a case where tools were not required at all; I hand tightened all the connections enough. In any case, you should not drag them. If your existing shower head is very tight you may need a wrench or something to loosen it, but in my case it wasn't even remotely necessary. If you want to go from a standard fixed position shower head to a shower head with an attached hose like this, it really is very easy.
