My daughter is 4ft 3in and weighs 68-70 pounds. Size 8-10 fits her for this winter. The label on the pants says size 140. I was skeptical about the fit after reading some of the reviews. I ordered a pair and she loved them. I later ordered other colors in her size. More expensive than kids leggings but they are so warm and soft. She no longer says her feet are cold at break, so it pays to put winter pants on her. Pants higher than the waist as necessary but not unreasonable. They are so comfortable my daughter considers the extra high waist a bonus. Pants fit to the ankle. Lace is a cute addition that has made her happy.
