For what it's worth I paid full price for it. I've had some experience with PandaHall finds in the past and knew it was an inexpensive choice of acceptable quality to craft items for myself (that's all I do at the moment). I recently bought a jewel loom and accompanying book, and there are instructions for finishing bracelets and other items from the book with ribbon clips. I wasn't sure what size I would prefer to use, so I bought them (I have the 8-25mm silver set). This set offers a wide range of sizes; I mostly use medium and large and if I order in the future I will probably go for the large sizes. But that's the advantage of such a set - I can try different things and see which ones work best for me. They were easy to use (simply - with pliers - clipped onto some tape over the edge that I wove onto my woven pieces). I didn't use nylon tipped pliers, just straight metal pliers and they didn't scratch the surface of the shafts. I then attached some pieces (lobster clasp and extender chain) to either end. My tape was quite thick (the first few times I used too much glue but I'm getting better) but they were strong enough that they could be secured with a few tugs no matter what. I've never worried about them breaking. The processing is quite good for the price. This is a lighter shade of silver (almost what you see on the official product image). I know they are freshly plated and the plating probably won't last forever, but with a little care, items made from them should last a long time.
