Harder material - not for sore knees

It definitely cools. And I like the strap so it doesn't get lost while sleeping. However, this will only work for some people. The gel-like material is much harder than foam knee pads. Some days I was comfortable and other days I was very uncomfortable when my knees hurt. People with bony knees probably won't like it either. Another note: the belt has NO Velcro, it is sewn in. Some people may find it difficult to put on. If you have strong knees that don't hurt, this may be the knee pad for you.
