Review on Luyed 2 x 650 Lumens 1156 1141 1003 LED Bulb: Ideal for Backup, Brake, Tail, RV Lights - Xenon White, 12V-24V by Original Mansel

The original 12 volt bayonet style bulb I replaced was terrible, but it was the only bulb available when my Wilton bench grinder was new. I hated the light and found the mill cumbersome to use with just overhead lighting. Spontaneously I looked to see if there was an LED with the right properties. As it turns out, the original Type 89 bayonet lamp is also known as the Type 1156 lamp and has been widely used in the automotive industry for many years. Luyed LED Bulb is a perfect replacement. Matching the grinder's working light cartridge was perfect in every way, and the bright white light illuminates the grinding area with plenty of easy-on-the-eyes light. This LED lamp does not flicker and does not heat up. I very much doubt I'll have to change that bulb every time.
