I just needed to hook up a few wires for my Fortin standalone remote start kit. While making sure they fit securely in open wire boxes was a little tricky, the single wire tees were compact and strong enough to get my wiring done without having to mess with wire insulation and solder. It was a little tricky to open the connectors already installed in the tight space as I had accidentally covered one without crimping the second wire for a T-socket. The clear latches you crimp are very strong and not easy to damage. crimp and serve as a good tray to hold the wire in place. For reference, I looked at 20 and 22 AWG wires. I don't do many reviews, but they got me out of my predicament as I wasn't thrilled to use the cheap Menards plastic t-shirts that seasoned remote-boot installers strongly advise against. Now I can enjoy the rest of the winter with remote start!
