Best for large, fast sequential reads, very slow shuffle and write performance

This micro SD drive is a good all rounder. Because most of these random read/write drives will never set your hair on fire. BUT, sequential read and especially write performance is not bad. I tested this card in the internal reader of my Dell laptop using the SD adapter that came with it. The 256 GB version offers enough storage space for use on a PC or tablet. Having lived with full-size 5MB hard drives as an adult, I am amazed at how much storage space can be stored on such a small device. Cool! I made a true copy of a large directory (with a mix of MANY small/medium files and some very large ISO image files. You could see how fast it could be copying large ISO files, and how slow it could be with directories is full of dozens of small files. It was significantly faster than other SD and Micro SD cards I had on hand. Great. Here are the summary stats for CrystalDiskMark 7.0.0 x64 [Read] Serial 1 MB (Q = 8, T = 1): 89,730 MB/s [85.6 IOPS] < 92515.73 Β΅s > Sequential 1 MB (Q = 1, T = 1): 87.346 MB/s [83.3 IOPS] < 11991, 23 Β΅s > Random 4 KB (Q=32, T=16): 13.377 MB/s [3265.9 IOPS] < 98408.27 Β΅s > Random 4 KB (Q=1, T=1): 12.467 MB/s [ 3043.7 IOPS] <328.13 Β΅s> [Write] Serial 1 MB (Q=8, T=1): 84.620 MB/s [80.7 IOPS] <97777.07 Β΅s > Serial 1 MB (Q=1 , T=1): 82.630 MB/ss [78.8 IOPS] < 12653.14 Β΅s > Random 4K (Q=32, T= 16): 7.008 MB/s [1710.9 IOPS] <147780.70 us> 4KB (Q = 1 , T=1): 5.883 MB/s [1436.3 IOPS] < 694.14 us> imed performance. What impressed me the most was the sequential recording. I am very happy with the large storage capacity and give this drive 5 stars. I'm happy.
