A yarn shop owner recommended this item to me many years ago. I've never understood the cause of my dry fingers and painful, cracked skin around my nails, especially in winter. She taught me that the yarn or fabric I so often work with actually absorbs moisture from my own skin and dries it out. Makes sense, but never crossed my mind. She gave me a sample of Gloves in a Bottle and I've never looked back. Yes, this lotion is hydrating and does the same thing as regular moisturizers, BUT the difference is that it wraps your hands and fingers like a non-greasy "glove" so yarn or fabric doesn't wick moisture from your skin. It's like regular lotion, especially when applied and dried. Nothing weird or tacky. It's amazing and it works. No more cracked skin or super dry hands.
