Works great and does what it is designed to do. I bought a couple of $50 USB card readers from another vendor, the $50 card readers are a little better built, with heavier plastic and stronger cable. They also allow you to swipe the map in any direction. But to save money, this one reads credit cards perfectly every time. It's really plug and play. I will definitely buy again. Upon purchase, I received an email with a link to additional documentation, including programming information. It's nice to know it's programmable, but I didn't need any of that - I just plugged it in and started erasing.
