For items like coins, driver's licenses, keys, and credit cards, this might not be a big deal. But do you want to carry some bills around in case you need a cab ride home or want to stop at a secret donut shop? Phew, you don't want to pay a later bill. It's just gross! The oversized wrist straps are quite hefty and can be worn around the ankle as described. The pocket is wide and deep enough to hold standard credit cards/hotel keys/driver's licenses.
