I just bought this ultra wide angle lens from Tokina after much research. I have a Canon 7D Mark II and I usually shoot with Canon lenses, my favorite being the 70-300L f4. DxOMark's specs and results convinced me to give it a try, and while I've used Sigma and Tamron lenses, I've never used a Tokina. I don't want to exaggerate my first reaction, but "WOW". It's as good as anything I've used and surprisingly sharp, even at a wider aperture. This is a very well built lens and can therefore be a bit heavier than some others. The manual focus ring is a little different, but that's not a problem, especially as it has a very fast and smooth f2.8 aperture. After spending a whole weekend doing this on my camera and seeing the results, I may have found my new favorite walking lens. The speed, build and sharpness are well worth the extra money compared to other ultra wide framing sensors in my opinion. I highly recommend.
