The son of Edifier W800BT Plus (Black) was a gift, and I am the proud owner of these JBL Tune 510BT headphones. As a result, I compared these two devices by connecting through bluetooth to my phone first, and then to the phone that belonged to the youngster. What can I say . If you have never tried any other headphones, then I would say that these are generally quite good. And by that, I do not mean good in comparison to other headphones; rather, I mean good in and of themselves. But if I had to pay for them out of my own pocket, which would set me back a whopping 4,500 dollars, I would be filled with an overwhelming sense of regret. This is because, with the exception of their portability, these speakers are virtually identical to Edifiers, and yet Edifiers are sold for an additional thousand dollars less. I have listed all of the drawbacks in comparison to the Edifires above, and even if you can overlook the fact that the charging connector is located not from below but from above, that there is no jack connector, and that there is no AptX codec, the fact that they really press your ears is incredibly annoying. They should be able to soundproof the auricle, which is why they squeeze it with as much dope as possible. Well, yes, this is probably a feature of any oversize headphones. But, it would be preferable if only this were the case, because the comfort level of the headband, which is worn on top of the head, is noticeably lower than that of the edifier. I am at a loss to comprehend how they were able to accomplish their goal. In theory, you shouldn't feel it till you remove the edifire and replace it with another one; therefore, I'm not sure why I do; perhaps it's a peculiarity of my skull. Then there is the aural quality. Well, I didn't expect that the headphones, which cost a third more, would sound flatter and less expressive, and this applies not only and not so much to the bass, which can simply be corrected with an equalizer, but to the overall sound picture. I didn't expect that the headphones would cost a third more. This can be most clearly heard when contemporary works, such as those relating to hobbits or pirates of the Caribbean, are performed by symphony orchestras. In Edifiers, when you close your eyes, you get the impression that you are sitting in the hall in front of the musicians. In JBL, on the other hand, you get the impression that you are sitting on your couch with headphones in front of your phone:) For this reason, there are only three. If they were priced at something like 800 edifires, I'd give them a four. If they were priced at about 2500, I'd give them a solid five. Thus, I have already made the decision that I will switch to Edif in three years from now.
