This stand does what it promises. The remote control works well with my tablet but not with my MacBook. The stand works well with my MacBook while I'm making videos for my distance students. It's relatively solid, but it occasionally causes discomfort when I have to tilt my MacBook a certain way. When I use it with my tablet it works fine but has one major downside. So far he can only adjust the corners. It doesn't go down or up very far, so the corners are annoying when you want it to face down at an angle. I would recommend something with more capabilities if that's what you're looking for. Otherwise it does what it's supposed to and works well.
