Benefits - Flush design looks great against the garage ceiling - Perfect fit for the sensor it was designed for - Open back design is great for cable access - Can be easily rotated if needed, to achieve better alignment - mounting screw attached to the sensor and make sure it does not fall off the ceiling mounting position. Cons: Poor build quality of the nib. The first time I tried to bend the rear springs to fit the cutout, a sprint broke. My only saving grace is that the cutting was accurate and had great tension along with 1 spring that didn't break. The second Sprint isn't much better as it's attached to the main unit.
