I received these 8 months ago and they were great. No break. Easier to open than plastic. Apparently they still refuse to open when your dog has just done his business in the garden under the supervision of a homeowner. π I wonder how they will stand up to wet PNW. I haven't seen any signs of buckling when wearing goods 1-2 miles in the rain. I also use them for garden cleaning. When I empty the trash can once a week on trash day, nothing has been spilled. My manifold is a plastic hose basket with drainage holes. So they are exposed to the weather, but not standing water. The odor factor is the same as with plastic. If Mr. Dog gives me a particularly fragrant sample and I know the nearest bin is far away, I'll take a double bag.
