Don't be fooled by the price when purchasing.

This chair is a complete wreck of a "gaming chair". There are more minuses than pluses. I also consider this chair (at least mine) to be a safety hazard. First let me say that I bought this chair to replace an old chair I had about 2 years old and the main reason I bought this chair is because it was a footrest and the Price was about $130. The chair is easy to assemble and comes with everything you need and additional accessories. The design of the chair is absolutely ridiculous. The thing still creaks and groans with every movement of the chair. If you watch the video I uploaded of this chair you will see this; The seat cushion becomes uncomfortable after a short time, the armrests move terribly, especially the upper plastic parts, not the actual supports which are bolted to the base of the chair. The little plastic guards on the sides are the cheapest I've seen, I've had heavier dog bags and mine broke. The part that I think is a big safety issue is that the gas piston (which controls the chair's height) raises and lowers itself without intervention. The chair is rated at 300lbs as advertised, I weigh 160lbs so I'm well within its capacity. It's not just annoying to have to readjust from time to time. If the piston fails, it could mean that the chair either collapses to its minimum height, possibly causing a spinal injury, or it simply explodes while you're sitting on it. and if you have no idea what that means, do a quick google search, it's not pretty. To be honest there are a few nice things about this chair: The faux leather is extremely stretchy and very comfortable. excellent embroidery. The lower back and neck pillows are also very comfortable. The same thing happens with the footrest, but I want the footrest to actually reach to the feet (or be adjustable) and not to the calves because it's less comfortable than having it reach to the feet. All in all I'm very disappointed with this chair because when I play I play for over an hour at a time and overall I just don't feel comfortable in the chair. I will most likely go back to my old chair with no footrest just because of all the concerns I have about this chair. To be honest if that happens that thing goes straight into the bin, I won't give it to anyone. And right now I only have 2 months.
