I used it on my children's hair and on my hair. We all have naturally curly hair and I wanted to find a way to make it easier to braid. It helped straighten the hair very well and it was very silky. I just didn't like the smell it left on my hair. I used it on freshly washed and blow dried hair (low heat) and the flat iron left my hair smelling like a beauty salon. I used a low temperature and lowered the temperature even further to see if that would make a difference. Since I haven't used any products, this seemed odd. And the smell stayed in our hair between washes. I will use it again but I won't use it often.
