Was glad to find a type C cable of this length that wasn't braided as I've tried a few of these and they don't charge really fast. However, it gets so hot. which I frankly fear it will catch fire. But my other issue is that it keeps disconnecting/reconnecting to charge as if you unplugged and plugged it back in. Nothing touches him and he lies flat. So this is a huge problem. But also how hot the charging block gets. I only noticed this because I kept hearing it plug and unplug the little ringing it makes. And went to check. I wanted to verify that the brick piece is fully seated in the socket. I couldn't even stand it, it was so hot. I had to wrap the shirt around my arm to get it out. It was only connected to the mains for about 30 minutes, it wasn't even fully charged. Disappointing but also seriously unhappy with the brick's unsafe heat build and poor connectivity/charging ability. I would not recommend this as it could potentially cause fire/injury.
