You get what you pay for, they say. But don't be greedy. These tires have performed exceptionally on 20-50 mile rides over a variety of terrain and light MTB trails. Sidewall stiffness is decent and I was comfortable from 40psi upwards, but dropped a bit. For longer roads and rides the front pressure has been increased to 60psi and the rear to 48psi and they have performed excellently and still show little wear. The picture included in this review is the current picture right now after trying some off road and at least 200 miles already literally showing no real wear they are just dirty from taking the whole bike apart to rebuild, and cleaned up again afterwards got a badly muddy ride Highly recommended They will slip quickly if you are brand new on any wet surface so be careful and other useful info for people is I had to put them on the rims I did with tire sizes from 1.5 to 2.25 and the wheel setup was tried on four different bikes and proved to be perfect
