Great tire! on Sports

Haven't mounted a tire yet. It looks like it will last a long time. The tire supports a maximum load of 198 pounds and a maximum air pressure of 40psi. i'm a big guy 6 feet and 228 pounds. Gave 3 stars only because the description didn't mention a weight limit but I'm sure it's a great tire and you can't beat the price. TO UPDATE. I tried the tire today and it worked well. Ride in mud, rocks and sticks and had good traction so I got 4 stars. Pretty hard rubber.

Pros
  • Super cornering with aggressive side grips
Cons
  • I don't have much to complain about, it's ok

Seems like a good deal for the money.

I'm trying to build an old mountain bike and I'm looking for cheap tires. I bought and installed one of these tires (to see if they are good). Appears to be well made, seems suitable for the street or very everyday trails but not safe for heavy terrain. I went ahead and bought a second tire. In terms of weight, the tire is marked 208 lbs on the side. I did a little research, 60% of the rider's weight is on the rear wheel, the rest on the front wheel. I weigh 195 + 33 for the bike, 228 totalโ€ฆ

Pros
  • 22 TPI, black
Cons
  • Unfashionable

CHEAP QUALITY!

You get what you pay for, they say. But don't be greedy. These tires have performed exceptionally on 20-50 mile rides over a variety of terrain and light MTB trails. Sidewall stiffness is decent and I was comfortable from 40psi upwards, but dropped a bit. For longer roads and rides the front pressure has been increased to 60psi and the rear to 48psi and they have performed excellently and still show little wear. The picture included in this review is the current picture right now after tryingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • For mountain and enduro use
Cons
  • Clarity
