Review on Baban Squeegee Cleaning Straight Extension by Alex Hensen

Wobbles when fully extended

I like cleaning our full sized van and need something like this to get onto the roof. I only use a step stool so this extension would be very helpful. I have a problem with stairs (more height) as I'm not a young man anymore. It was nice to have this extension and then take it apart to put away. However, I started building PCs. The head with microfiber and squeegee is easy to put on the first part. All other parts, extensions, were easy to assemble. That wasn't the problem. First, after mounting it, I tried using it on a higher window on the side of the house. I splashed water on the window and lifted the pole to wipe it down with a fiber cloth first. I can't put pressure on him so he didn't clean up well. The handle dangled and got heavier as it sucked up water (okay, that's not the pole's fault). The wiggling put a lot of pressure on my hands and just controlled the whole bar so it could do what it was supposed to do. In that regard, it doesn't work for me. Second, the scraper was slightly shorter in width so it could cover a larger area. But I know it would make it a lot harder. However, the scraper was a bit soft so it didn't really clean the window from a clean slate like a regular scraper would. I tried rubbing harder but the wobbly extension didn't help me at all. Third, when I'm done I want to put it away and not interfere with my other cleaning products but be easily accessible. This allowed parts of the handle or extensions to be easily removed/disassembled. As for the head, I can't remove the first part that attaches to the squeegee/microfiber holder. I didn't want to force it and then break it. So now I have the part that I can't store efficiently. It didn't have its own pocket so I had to find a pocket to hang it. Needless to say, the head is now sticking out of the bag I found. If anyone has an idea how to detach the head, please report. It's a great idea overall, but maybe for lighter jobs that don't require you to rub hard or too hard to run into a wobble problem. I still like the extensions specifically for the van roof but was hoping to use them for many other wide reaching areas.
