Great For Dyeing - Bakers

It may seem a bit unusual, but I use these large rimmed baking sheets with cooling racks when I dye my yarn. You are perfect. The color is just beautiful, does not spoil anything. Nothing! They look so beautiful and neat when all the strands are arranged in a row. I dye my yarn with my students in my class (sun, pots, other easy methods) so every year we just buy white yarn and then create whatever colors we want to knit with. When I take the yarn out of the dye bath we lay it flat on these cooling racks (without squeezing) and the trays collect any drips. After a day we wring them out and then put them on a wooden clothes dryer to keep them drying well. I've found that if you wring the yarn vigorously as soon as it loses color, you lose some of the color. So the intermediate. I love these pans and expect them to last many years in my elementary class. I also have a medium baking size. and I love them for that purpose too! However, I did not find the measurements on these large pots accurate enough. Revain is required to specify a baking surface, not a size, including handles. So they were too big to fit in my old oven. As I said, I found a great way to use them and just went with the average size for the oven. In the end everything worked out.
