Review on Hefty Ultra Strong Blackout Tall Kitchen Trash πŸ—‘οΈ Bags with Clean Burst Scent - 13 Gallon, 80 Count by Megan Knoll

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Thinner than I remember but still good quality

I looked at the reviews before buying and based on some of the reviews almost decided not to buy. I wanted black garbage bags for my kitchen so my garbage and the clutter in my garbage bag would not be visible. I have used another brand but was frustrated with the drawstrings constantly snapping and the pockets ripping, so I decided to give these Hefty Ultra Strong bags a try. I have used hefty bags but have been for a number of years. I really can't remember why I stopped using them. I think I just found cheaper ones and went with them. Sometimes cheaper isn't always better in the long run. So, I'm back with Hefty and I'm glad some negative reviews didn't stop me from buying them. I have a Rubbermaid Step-On bin (step in and the lid opens) and they fit on the large oval top lid. I had no problems with them slipping off and sliding into the bin. When I take the trash out of the bin, I end up stuffing more into the bag and it expands quite a bit. I'll admit the bags looked a bit thinner than I remember from the Hefty bags I've bought before, but I didn't have to rip any and they are strong enough not to break. to buy them regularly.

Pros

Cons
  • Not bad but...
