This is a really cool product. Not sure what the other reviewer is talking about - I got mine working very easily. Installing the software was a little slow, but that's okay. I got it up and running on my Windows 10 PC in about 20 minutes. It's really cool because the scanning app has a ton of features. They can do all kinds of scans, and some scans do OCR - and I've found that to be pretty accurate, even on newsprint, which can be quite tricky! Look at the images next to the real image and what the scanner captured as text. It can also be used as a simple live view for presentations, like a document camera, a useful feature. The coolest thing I tried was the ability to scan barcodes on a page and save the scanned image as whatever is encoded in the barcode. This is a feature of much, much more expensive products - I was very impressed by this feature. My only complaints are just the gargantuan size of the scanner, but I suppose I could find a smaller black matte - it doesn't look like you have to use the one advertised. I would also have liked a longer USB cable, but I think I can just buy an extension cord. Overall, I'm VERY IMPRESSED! Especially for the price! I really recommend it.
