I bought this dog food because I have a 10 year old personal/lab mix that was recommended to me on a senior diet. I chose this bag because the ingredient list said it contained only beef and fish and the label said it contained no chicken or poultry meal. This is important to me because my pet is quite allergic to chicken meat. I received it and slowly started to transition my dog to this new food. After 2 or 3 days I noticed she was having a reaction (ie: dry flaky skin, hair loss and itchy eyes). I started looking at the ingredients of the new food and the package lists CHICKEN MEAL as the second most common ingredient. It also contains chicken fat as there is a label at the top of the package saying it contains no fat. While I'm sure this food is probably a quality product, the fact that the ingredients on the product page were obviously wrong is unacceptable. If your pet is sensitive to chicken or poultry, this food is not for you. To date, the ingredients listed are incorrect.
