This little vest will become my travel essential. I have mocha and wine. Mocha is not dark brown - more like a cup of coffee with a small spoonful of cream. The gold zippers make it trendy but not gaudy. It's very comfortable (I usually wear a size 10 top, but I like a looser fit so I went with a big vest). The sides are elastic, on the back there is an adjustment with buttons. There are 2 zippered side pockets that fit an iPhone 6plus in a case! My only concern is that I don't think the zippers will hold up to rough handling. They close cleanly but feel light. I haven't had any problems yet. Detachable hood is great! Once closed, you can just zip up the inner zip and leave the outer zip open to wear over bulkier clothing or simply for a looser fit. And without a hood, the cut is just as stylish and comfortable. Warm: I'm always cold. Although I live in Arizona, I live in Fleece. This is a good lightweight gilet for cooler weather and for extra warmth under a coat. This is not a snow bunny down jacket for skiing. The construction looks high-quality, the seams are processed and coordinated. It's so cute and comfy (and useful with big pockets!) that I'm ordering more! UPDATE: I've worn my vests on several trips to cool/rainy locations. I've worn it as a top layer and under a parka. He carried himself beautifully. I was glad a hooded vest rode the roof of a double decker bus across the Golden Gate Bridge in high winds! My parka doesn't have a drawstring hood that fits snugly around my face. The hood on the vest fits and hugs my face so nicely! I am very happy with this purchase - these little vests will travel more often! I have already washed the vests twice in cold water and in the "normal" wash (turned inside out). I dried them on a hanger. They wash well and dry quickly, without wrinkles and bumps. One more note about lightning. when the zip is straight, it closes so gently that you hardly hear the "zzzzip". But if the zipper's teeth aren't lined up properly, it will get stuck a bit. I think it's because the teeth aren't close together. Just align the fabric and zip up. I don't think it's a quality issue - it appears to be a good zipper. Simple design with slightly wider spaced teeth than heavy duty zippers.
