Review on Gouache Carrying Students Watercolor Painting Painting, Drawing & Art Supplies by Ryan Farias

After seeing reviews of this all over YouTube I decided to get one during the quarantine to experiment with. I usually use watercolors and wanted to try something similar but a little more opaque, so gouache seemed like a good option. I organized the highlights to make them easier to read. CUSTOMER SERVICE: I originally ordered one about a week ago but was very disappointed to find the brushes were completely missing and one of the paint cups was partially open. the sample sheet was also missing, but that wouldn't have been a big problem anyway). Luckily, the new kit arrived just a day after ordering the replacement with all the missing components and no exposed paint. I haven't even had the chance to return the original set, but I'm very happy with the quick response. PRODUCT REVIEW: The color of the actual case is exactly what I expected and it's nice that the brush handles match. The whole thing is actually a bit heavier than I expected, so I wouldn't recommend it as a travel set, but the large amount of paint is very helpful for beginners to experiment with. Unfortunately, the lid doesn't close completely no matter what angle I lower it, and even without a palette, allowing air to get in and drying out the paints. I haven't tested the paints or brushes but they seem good and the only negative I can think of about the brushes is that they paint easily. Anyway, overall it's pretty good and I like the fast customer service. :)
