I have ordered two of these mattresses and would give them five stars based solely on comfort and ease of installation. When I deflated the first mattress, I accidentally removed the entire deflation valve instead of opening the valve latch. The valve is not so easy to send back. My father did the same when deflating the second mattress. The second mattress also had a relatively minor issue of losing some air after inflation so it never maintained ideal firmness. However, the main issues I have seen are the durability of the mattress and the handling of the aero return. Neither mattress lasted as long as I expected. We've been using the first one for a few months but it has a major leak. The second mattress, which leaked from the start as described above, only got worse after my dad used it for a few weeks this summer. Decided to ask Aero to replace this mattress under warranty. I called Aero and they told me to fax them the original replacement receipt and they gave me a returns number. On the cover of the fax, I put the return order number and my parents' address as the alternate destination. A week later, my mom called me and said the label she needed to ship the old mattress hadn't arrived from Aero yet. . I called Aero and they said they hadn't received my fax. When I explained that I had proof of fax delivery, Aero asked if I had written "Attention: (agent's name)" on the cover sheet. This is the first time I've heard of this notation. After three phone calls and three emails, Aero received my receipt and agreed to ship the label. A week later my mother called and said the tag still hadn't arrived. I called Aero and they gave me a mailing address to send the old mattress to and promised to send a new mattress once I gave them the tracking number for the old mattress. UPS to pick up the old mattress, I emailed Aero with the tracking number. Eleven emails later (six mine, five from Aero) sent the correct replacement tracking number. Unfortunately, the tracking information says a replacement will be headed to FORTLAUNDERKING, FL. (He should go to Fort Lauderdale, Florida.) NOTE. I slightly changed the mangled city name and the actual city name for the purposes of this story. Perhaps even worse, the mailing address was also misspelled. Another call and several emails later, UPS and Aero claim the package is arriving at the right place because the zip code is correct. And Aero uses almost all capital letters in his replies to my tiresome emails (Biff lives, for all the old Usenet hounds!). I just wonder what my parents will actually find in the shipping box. :) With all that being said, I appreciate Aero's promise to replace the defective mattress and to ship the replacement before the old mattress was back in their hands.
