This cat shaped RGB night light from Avoar is a little better than I expected. First it arrived in a nice box with a display, although I expected the light to just come in a simpler box. The presentation box is colourful, it contains the technical specifications of the lamp and the instruction manual. The box contains a flashlight, a micro USB cable to charge the flashlight and a short instruction manual. The lamp is approximately 6 inches high and approximately 4.5 inches in diameter. The outer body of the cat-shaped flashlight is made of soft silicone, so it's not made of a material that can break in a fall or the like. Before turning on the flashlight, read the full charge instructions. While the flashlight is charging, the small red LED indicator will flash and when charging is complete, the red LED indicator will remain on. There is a button on the bottom of the flashlight to turn the flashlight on and off, and you can control some of the functions. Functions of the light by pressing the top of the light. However, if you want to do something other than turn the lights on or off, I recommend using the remote control. You can do a lot more with the remote control! The color and control options are typical for this type of RGB lighting. The light has 10 levels of brightness which is pretty good, it allows me to dial in exactly where I want the brightness of the light to be. No complaints, it's a pretty good little night light!
