Perfect fit to replace the zipper on a sweatshirt. The zipper is small but fits the size of the garment. I'm glad I saved my sweatshirt. The zip is light and hopefully lasts a long time - if not I'll update this review. I had previously tried using a paper clip which worked fine but didn't work well in the washing machine as unfortunately it pierced my underwear which was in the same load of laundry. I was able to install it in less than 5 minutes using a table knife and needle nose pliers and I'm pretty incompetent at such things. I didn't bend open the small circle for installation - I simply inserted the tip of a butter knife between the pieces of the circle to open the end a knife-edge width, then inserted the end into the exposed portion of the remaining zipper head. . I used needle nose pliers to rotate the circle until the parts of the circle were flush with each other - just like putting a key on a key ring. Good lighting (e.g. a headlamp) and safety goggles if you need them will help a lot.
