Review on Sweese 503.401 Porcelain Ramekins for Baking - 12 oz Souffle Dish - Set of 4, White by Jamie Lewis

I bought a few HIC molds first before discovering this brand and I have already ordered a few more Sweese products. The Sweese are noticeably whiter than the HIC (which looks gray in comparison), although they are a little warmer in color than the Tuxton restaurantware I use (which is dead white). The frosting and Sweese finish are excellent! In addition, unlike HIC, Sweese does not stick "eternal stickers" on its products, but glazes the bottom of the molds. and they are advertised and labeled as lead-free even though they cost about the same as HIC. The Sweese also folds securely (no HIC). Needless to say I have switched to the Sweese brand and will be replacing the previously purchased HIC molds.
