I tried it because I was fascinated by the taste of lemon. While not flashy with lemon, I was amazed at the freshness that lasted for hours. My mouth seems really clean. I find that regular toothpaste tastes very harsh, but my mouth doesn't always feel fresh after brushing, which is frustrating. I used to do a lot of rinsing to get rid of the bad taste, which flushed the brightening and protective ingredients straight down the drain. Regular toothpaste annoys me too. Now I only use Oxyfresh in the morning and mix it with my regular whitening toothpaste at night. Oxyfresh softens the harshness of whitening toothpaste so I can tolerate it on my teeth! By doing this for a week, my teeth became whiter than after using at least two tubes of the same whitening paste. Very satisfied! Update: I just bought my 5th tube. I love this stuff!
