Review on Superior Pump 92551 Cast Pedestal by Olusola Edwards

Revainrating 1 out of 5

BEWARE OF SMALL GARBAGE. NO BUENOS!

Received the pump quickly and it looked great when I took it out of the box. The excitement was overwhelming. The apartment on the first floor of one of the houses I rented was leaking water from an adjacent, slightly higher basement, which consisted mainly of mud. I started using a pump to draw water from a spring. It worked exactly as intended and I was able to remove excess water. Yay! However, the rain was not made. I returned about four hours later expecting to be able to effectively remove the water as before. However, this time when I turned on the pump, it hummed but did not displace the water. I asked my electrician to see what was wrong. He disassembled the device and found a pebble that appeared to be interfering with the device's proper functioning. He removed the indicated pebble and the machine started working again as requested. Fast forward to the next rain. I turned on the pump and the same buzzing came up when it wasn't working properly. Once again I asked my electrician to see what he could do. This time when he disassembled the device, there was no pebble or anything else that prevented normal operation. It just won't work anymore. I'm writing today because it's raining again and I need a working pump. Although I ordered this device back in June, I didn't really use it until a few weeks ago. I came to Revain to inquire about a return but unfortunately my July pump return window has expired. I really hate writing negative reviews. Initially I was satisfied with the pump, although I had to disassemble it several times at the electrician's. As long as the end result matched my ultimate goal, in this case to be able to remove water accumulating in the neighborhood of one of my apartments before the imaginary dam ruptures and real damage not only to my property but more importantly, inflicted is the ability of my tenants to live peacefully. My electrician told me, and I believe it is true, that the pebbles should not have penetrated the internal workings of the unit so easily. When the pebble got there thinking it might mess things up to the point I ended up with a use, a lot of trouble, fifty bucks poorer and no way to get rid of that mount. water crisis. No, bueno! I would have liked to contact the company directly but was unable to as my return period had expired.
