are writing this after 6 months of almost daily use. upgraded to a logitech g430 which by the way was a great budget pair of headphones. Previously I bought and returned a pair of Steelseries arctis 5 headphones which are the same price as them and didn't like them at all. Mic quality was slightly better, but comfort and sound quality were incredibly poor. I have a pair of headphones that I can literally wear all day and I don't get any ear or head fatigue noise - they're noticeably better for gaming and music, so no problem. When I have sound issues, it's usually the game and not the headset. I keep the volume at Windows 10 and still turn it down at least half in the game settings no matter what I'm playing, so there's definitely a lot more room for these things to get louder if you choose to. - Detachable microphone - If you are upgrading from a wired headset you will never go back - Mute and volume buttons are very conveniently placed - Stay on my average sized head pretty well - The convenience you have when walking around the house Without having to take off the headphones so you can still listen to your friends/music/videos, the cons are so big - Battery - Maybe the pair I got were a little non-functional, but they definitely don't last 30 hours when fully charged. Yes, I turned my parking lights off completely, but even so, the battery probably only lasts 15-20 hours on a full charge. - Volume wheel - again I'm not sure if mine is broken but the wheel is extremely sensitive and gets misaligned constantly from rubbing against my chair - not a problem if you lean forward while playing but gets annoying when you sit down relaxing while listening to music / video - software - useless, no equalizer settings, but if you're a noob like me and don't know what to do anyway, then it doesn't matter, to me they sound good, pretty good - microphone quality - at least not like that, like I'm talking through a microwave, just a slight upgrade from the g430s I've used before, which I think is good enough. Friends tell me I sound loud so they have to turn me off, but at least it doesn't pick up on things like my clattering keyboard profile - looks like your typical bulky gamer headphones, but if your phone doesn't have a standard USB 2/ 3.0 connector, I do I can't imagine you walking around in public with it anyway. Conclusion: All the disadvantages mentioned were actually only minor inconveniences, so overall I am more than satisfied with these headphones. The value you get for your money at this price point is pretty fair I'd say, although not much better than what you get from most other brands.
