Now I have three pens for my three Surface devices, two from Uogic and a second version of MS Pen. I have the original Used Uogic pen as my first choice as it was comfortable and just the best fit for my hand. I originally bought it because it was a third of the price of an MS Pen when I bought my second Surface, the Go model and didn't want to pay a ridiculous price for an MS Pen. I liked it, wrote a review about it which most people found useful and for the price I still think the original pen is a great value and works very well. The main difference then as now with the first pen was the pressure levels. It has about 1200 instead of the MS version which has 4096. Also, it attaches with a clip instead of a magnet. With the exception of things like calligraphy, I hadn't noticed the pressure level difference and it did everything very well. This new ballpoint pen from Uogic meets all requirements and exceeds all expectations. First, this pen has a pressure rating of 4096, so it suits the needs of artists and those who need that level of sensitivity for their work. It then attaches with magnets, which is a plus if you're not using a pen case/bag. It has a delete and right-click button right where your index finger is holding the stylus - great features where you need them most. Unlike the MS Pen, which uses AAAA batteries, this pen has an internal rechargeable battery that is charged via the included USB cable. No need to buy batteries, one charge lasts a long time. It has palm rejection and tilt features, that's all you need. Ultimately, it's all about how it works and how comfortable it is to hold. It comes with extra tips which was a nice surprise. While it's a matter of personal preference, this is the stylus I currently use best because it's thin, has a smooth rounded shape, and the toggle button for erasing and double-clicking is in the right place for my finger. Ergonomics is the secret of the pen and you should feel like you are using a regular pen or pencil. It's such a feeling. Now the MS model looks big and chunky, more like a marker than a pen. For me it's just a more natural feeling, so that's a definite benefit. On screen it is accurate and real time. No lag, springs to life when you go 1/8 inch or so, and since I'm an artist and do hand lettering with swirls that go from very thin to thick, the pressure levels are perfect. That's part of the magic of the Surface touchscreen, and this pen brings all the promises of pressure sensitivity to life. Like the Surface models, the pen is available in silver or dark grey/black. Although my Surfaces are dark gray, I like the silver pen. It's easy to spot on a dark desk or wherever it's supposed to be held, but I've spent a lot of time looking for dark colored pens and found the light is bright and easy to spot. First off in my review, as I teased, if you sit next to a sad dude with no internet and use the free wi-fi at Starbucks with your cooler than Apple Surface, you'll be a baby magnet and have extra cash to buy a latte for all supermodels who want to be seen next to a hipster wearing Surface. With the $60-70 you saved buying this pen, it's still true. The price is in the $30 range so bring yours and say hello to the hot models but please tell 'em I have one too and I'm ready to retouch them with 4096 pressure levels!
