I love that I was able to repair my ceiling fan with a cheap item. However, the small table did not help. You need to understand charts to know what a chart means. The wires on my Hunter fan were 1 purple, 1 red, and 2 black. I had to go through several videos and diagrams on Google but couldn't find a single match. The closest color chart was purple, red, black and yellow. I match my remaining black to the number indicated by yellow. I finally have a derailleur that recognizes 3 gears. I hope you can provide more detailed instructions as I didn't realize you had to use a clamp to open the holes where the wires connect.
