Review on Enhance Your Ford F-Series Pickup Truck with Partsam 5X Cab Marker Lights Roof Running Lamps Featuring Black Lens Covers + 5050 Amber LED Bulbs by Brandon Teitel

Revainrating 3 out of 5

No better or worse than any other available.

The only thing I really like about them is that they are all black instead of cheap gray plastic in the original color. You have to light a match to see if they burn. I replaced them with much brighter ones. Three of the five pigtails that came with the kit went in the trash when the contacts were pulled deep into the socket and after I managed to get them back to where they were they didn't complete the circuit and the lightbulbs didn't shine; Luckily I had much better pigtails on hand. A few words about pigtails: When delivered from the factory on a truck, each cab light has its own standard two-pin connector in the wiring harness; Instead of cutting/splicing the pigtails, simply pull enough wire out of the hole in the roof to expose the specified connector, unplug the connector and use the new two-pronged connector YOU supply with the new spliced/soldered pigtail, and it's a plug-n-play thing; The people who designed these kits are aware of these 2 pin connectors and should have supplied new pigtails with 2 pin connectors as an integral part of the pigtail. these lights are NOT; after screwing, there is a large gap at both ends; Even with thin foam pads, you'll need to use some sort of waterproof sealant under these headlights. I used a coat of butyl putty and then applied black silicone around the perimeter. As cautious as I was, I still managed to crack the base of two of them before even trying them. But as I said, there is nothing that fits and works better; If your old cab headlights are looking cracked, faded and shabby, they're no better or worse than anything else available. Better buy two sets as you will probably need an extra headlight or two before installing them.
