This has become a very popular toy around our house, with our nearly two-year-old son. He's had it nearly a year, and it gets a lot of play.The bumps all over the ball are odd, but it does improve the grip. And, unlike some other balls that are unconventional, this one still does what other toy balls do, too--it bounces, is easily thrown and caught, rolls well.It's also held air well. We haven't had to add any since we bought it.
