TLDR; Yes this is good. Before that I used a similar cover I bought at Walmart. They turned yellow with age but provided good protection. The screen was covered in a different material (glass? plastic?) that was thinner than the body to ensure a secure touch, but also created a ridge around the screen that made it difficult to make sweeping movements like you do to switch between clocks would use faces. One is made of a similar material but is one piece so where it covers the screen is the same as the sides. That thicker screen cover doesn't seem to cause any screen responsiveness issues. Actually bake everything as a whole, broad strokes are easier than my old one because there is no seam where two materials meet and a constant thickness. With such a protective film, water between the protective film and the screen means that touches are not registered. correct and you need to remove the protective film and wipe everything. It just is. This protector fits well and is not too difficult to remove without tearing or stretching. I don't know how he will age. I suspect it will eventually turn yellow as well. But I'm fine with that as I'll probably need a new one by then and they're pretty cheap compared to similar ones you can get elsewhere.
