Good for 4X4 poles.
The junction box has a rear mounting gasket to seal it on the surface. This can be important as there is a large hole in the back of the box for the wires to come out through. Although the box hangs over a 4X4 rack, the spacer fits nicely on a rack of this size. The two 1/2" threaded outlets are for conduit or flexible connections to cables.
